Work

Web Developer

– Present
Hilversum, The Netherlands
  • Built the front-end of the training platform used by all EO brands.

  • Involved in migrating all projects from EOL Nuxt.js to Next.js.

  • Set up a new internal component library in React to be used by all EO sites.

Graduate Project

Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Worked on compositional input-output conformance testing with microservies using the Axini Modeling Platform. My thesis can be found at jore.dev/thesis.

  • Developed a novel and theoretically grounded testing method called "model-based mocking" based on input-output conformance testing, making tests exponentially faster.

  • Built the model-based mocking method into the Axini modeling platform to be used by Axini's customers.

  • My paper got accepted at the BENEVOL 2023 workshop.

  • Presented my results at the BENEVOL 2023 conference.

Designer (Embedded Software Engineer)

Son en Breugel, The Netherlands

Supported the Prodrive Motion Platform generic product.

Software Engineer Talent

Remote from Italy

Worked for Agema Labs, creating MVPs for various clients.

  • Created an MVP, front, and back end for a new business focused on medical kits.

  • Developed a portfolio website for a local cleaning company.

  • Involved in improving the local development process, from initial design to maintenance.

Remote from everywhere!

As a web developer I turn the idea into reality with unique websites, tailored to your specific needs. I work on the front-end, back-end and everything in between.

Some partners include Lukas Ezendam and Dutch Coding Company. Working with them on various internal and external projects has been a lot of fun. They both have cool websites as well, which I did the majority of the development of and are good examples of what's possible. You can visit them at https://www.lukasezendam.nl and https://dutchcodingcompany.com

Full-Stack Developer

Eindhoven, The Netherlands
  • Created the company's main website using new technologies and making it future-proof and easily updatable.

  • Developed a software tool, My ISO Genius, that allows companies to independently go through the ISO certification process.

  • Built a proof of concept platform to match physicians with patients based on a detailed look at the patient's issue to create the match with an expert in that specific field.

  • Contributed to the internal documentation, clarifying front-end development standards.

Compositional ioco using model-based mocking

Published by BENEVOL 2023

Model-based testing is a compelling method for the end-to-end testing of microservices. However, when testing with a large number of services, state space explosion is a common problem. It is especially a problem since input-output conformance (ioco) is not compositional. We developed a novel and theoretically grounded testing method called model-based mocking (MBM) to end-to-end test microservice systems compositionally. We tested the MBM method using the Axini Modeling platform by inserting 20 mutants into an example microservice system. In our set of inserted bugs, MBM found more than half of the bugs faster compared to other methods and was slower for none of the bugs.
